So what about me?

Grew up in Upstate NY, went to college at SUNY Oswego because I heard they had an improv group, and got an English Literature degree with a Theatre minor.

Moved to Chicago to study improv and writing at iO and Second City, then I moved on to LA. Worked for Second City on a cruise ship, helped run the Westside Comedy Theater as the Marketing Director and Artistic Director, and developed improv game shows with Craig Ferguson and Wayne Brady.

Wrote for Comedy Central.com, Russel Peters, and Epic Rap Battles of History, where I won a Streamy for writing and was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Short Form Variety Series.

Long story short, now I live in Milwaukee as a copywriter for Hanson Dodge. And so far, it’s the best job I ever had.

Thanks, have a good one! - Mike

My prized possession, an amazing reference letter from Scott Gimple, writer and show runner of “The Walking Dead.”
